So, Broochay comes over to my apartment to help setup my new pretty TV. It might not be the latest technology, but it's is certainly an improvement over this ...
So, before the new addition to my entertainment family arrived, I disassembled all of my components. Once pretty got here, I set some of them back up for basic viewing.
Broochay is trying to calibrate the sound. BIG PROBLEM! There's not actually any sound. We're checking to make sure the TV and receiver are not set to mute ... we're checking the audio cable connections between the receiver and the TV ...
Turns out, you actually need to hook up the speakers before getting sound out of them.
Again, at least we're not people that have technical jobs ...
